What is a prebiotic?
Prebiotics, a type of fiber found in plants, help healthy bacteria grow in your digestive tract. Prebiotics are used with the intention of improving the balance of these microorganisms. Prebiotics can naturally be found in foods such as whole grains, bananas and greens, and are added to some dietary supplements.

Women 51 and older | 22 grams per day |
Men 51 and older | 28 grams per day |
What is the difference between dietary fiber and soluble fiber?
Dietary fiber consists of nondigestible carbohydrates and lignin that are intrinsic and intact in plants. Soluble fiber is one of the types of dietary fiber and dissolves in water. It is important to understand that not all soluble fiber is considered dietary fiber.
What is the source of fiber?
The fiber comes from inulin, which is derived from chicory root.
Is the fiber plant-based?
Yes, MiraFIBER® Gummies include inulin derived from chicory root.
How often can I use MiraFIBER® Gummies?
MiraFIBER® Gummies can be taken daily to provide additional fiber to your diet and to support the metabolism of carbs, fats and proteins with Vitamins B3, B5, and B12.*
Where are MiraFIBER® Gummies metabolized or digested in the body?
The inulin in MiraFIBER® Gummies is a prebiotic fiber which is a non-digestible carbohydrate. It is not broken down in the stomach, but rather passes through the upper digestive tract and metabolized by gut bacteria in the colon. Dietary B vitamins are generally absorbed in the small intestines. B vitamins play an important role in supporting the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins to help convert food to fuel.*
